Authentic Pasta Lovers!

Yes, we actually are great pasta lovers and not only pasta of course. My wife Mirella and I love almost any kind of Italian food. She's native from Naples the city of real fanatic foodies.

Thanks to Mirella and her mother's cookery I could appreciate many kinds of southern dishes and foods, and I have published many recipes on this site.

Nice authentic Italian pasta recipes made with fresh, juicy S. Marzano tomatoes, great buffalo's mozzarella and of course the world's famous pizza are all coming from Naples.

So, how couldn't I be influenced by southern Italian recipes? There was no way to escape! But, this has been very good since I could indeed get into the traditional south Italian cooking, and not only that.

"Under The Tuscan Sun"

Today, we live "Under the Tuscan sun" where food is as much good as Naples even though different. I have honestly to admit that I like more to eat rather than cooking.

One of my passions is to write and this site has been created to merge all my passion and love for Italian food, English and Internet.

Now, I can sharing with you and the whole world these authentic Italian recipes on this web site, working from home. I have read many Italian cookbooks and an whole encyclopedia about Italian cooking.

So, wouldn't you like to know how to make exactly how Italians do? Discovering how to make dozens of classic and everyday Italian recipes straight from Italy, at your home in your own kitchen?

Don't get me wrong, we all have our own taste and we like to experiment with food and make changes to recipes, that's not bad.

Alive on The Web!

I went alive on the web back in 2007 from an idea to turn my passion into a web-site, and as well working from home.

Well, initially it seemed an hard task, because I didn't have all the necessary skills to build a web-site. I was just starting from a little passion, but Italian food topic is very huge, and I didn't know nothing about web building and hosting.

Searching the web looking for how to get over this hump, I went through many web providers which where just offering a domain name and space for hosting a web site.

Could this had been enough for a newbie? Nope!

So How?

I really wanted to get it, and so I started to dig deeper all this matter even though it was complex and high time consuming.

Nobody was giving me any advice about an on-line business, and you can image how easy it could had been to fall into a scam without even knowing it, and then just come out with a waste of money.

Nobody wants to feel such thing.

Searching and researching the web the only things that jumped straight in front of my monitor were those get rich quick scams.

So, I said to my self: "Come on Attilio do you believe in all that? You really think that you can become so rich so fast? Just a few weeks or maybe a few hours would be enough to get rich?

Nope, that's just ridiculous, I don't even bet a dime on that stuff, they just want to sell me a dream that's all. I know it can't be possible to get rich quick without winning a big lottery, and even though it takes time before money arrives, and everybody knows this!"

So, things were getting harder and harder than I first thought, and worse behind the corner there was a setback for me.

A Setback Was on the Way

I took very seriously the mater to be the owner of my own business and start to work from home after I've lost my 9 to 5 job.

Yes, unfortunately (but fortunately for me) that's true, with the 2009 world crisis I've lost my day job at the age of 50.

Wow!

That job was my only steady stream, and you might just image how sad it was for me, at least you had the same trouble or you need now extra money for you and your family.

So, I took a deep breath, looked at things objectively and reached a conclusion myself: that probably wasn't the job of my life after all.

The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me!

I never would have set out to quit my day job on my own, if circumstances hadn't forced me to do so.

By the way, I discovered the freedom to go where I want, do what I want, when I want, and I had made up my mind that this was what I wanted to do!

Yes, paradise, but...

I always had a full time job to pay for all my needs, and now how can I pay for all my bills?

I set myself a new goal:

I will find a job that makes me happily jump out of bed in the morning, that pays the bills, that allows me to work from home, and that I will still be happy doing in thirty years time.

The Solution!

I still remember when I stumbled across SBI, I wonder why it took me so many months to find it.
