Slow Simmered Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

Ingredients: serves 4

- 1 lb (gr.454) spaghetti or rigatoni
- 2 tablespoons (ml.30) extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup (gr.57) minced fresh parsley leaves
- ½ pound (gr.227) ground beef
- 1 28 ounce (gr.794) can whole tomatoes finely chopped, best San Marzano Tomatoes
- salt
- grated Parmigiano Reggiano


Preparation: easy 30 minutes

TIP!
It is not necessary to brown meat before slow cooking, however, if you prefer the flavor of browned meat, brown your meat in a skillet then place the meat in the stoneware.

1. Combine all sauce ingredients and mix thoroughly in your stoneware.

Place stoneware in your slow cooker heating base, cover and cook on low for 3-5 hours or on high for 2-4 hours.

2. Adjust seasonings and serve immediately your crock pot spaghetti or if you like, rigatoni. Pass cheese separately at the table.
