Ingredients: serves 2
- 1 ⅜ cup (300g) fresh or canned tomatoes - 1 chili - ½ onion - 1 sprig oregano - 1 clove garlic - 2 (30g) tablespoons extra virgin olive oil Preparation: easy 20 min1. Wash the tomatoes if they are fresh, peel the garlic and onion. Then finely chop the garlic, onion and chili. If you want the sauce less hot remove some of the chili seeds. 2. In a frying pan add the extra virgin olive oil, garlic and onion. Saute the vegetables for a minute. 3. Then add the crushed tomatoes.
4. Add the sprig of origano, cover and simmer for a while. 5. Drain the pasta that you had previously boiled and toss with the sauce in the pan. 6. Stir with a wooden spoon and season with salt and pepper if you like.
